Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position (minimum 2 years) in the laboratory of Dr. Wei Ji Ma (http://neuro.bcm.edu/malab) in the Department of Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.


The long-range goal of our research is to understand the representation and processing of uncertainty in the human brain, both at the behavioral and at the neural level. The lab uses a combination of theoretical analysis, computational modeling, and theory-driven human experiments. Current areas of study include multisensory perception, decision-making, and visual search. The position provides an opportunity to take part in highly collaborative research programs within the Computational Psychiatry Unit (http://cpu.bcm.edu) and the Department of Neuroscience as a whole.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in computational neuroscience, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field, and have a commitment to a research career in neuroscience. Programming experience with Matlab or C++ is very desirable.
