The University of Texas – San Antonio offers graduate students interested in computational studies of the nervous system a wide range of research options within its rapidly expanding Ph.D. program in Neurobiology. The graduate program is also supported by the Neuroscience Institute at UTSA, and is affiliated with the San Antonio Neuroscience Alliance linking together all neuroscience training programs in San Antonio.

The INCF has launched an international initiative to develop a xml based descriptive language for integrate-and-fire neural network modeling, led by Prof. E. De Schutter. To support this effort the Belgian National Neuroinformatics Node at the University of Antwerp is recruiting a scientific collaborator to coordinate the work of the INCF task force, contribute to the development of the language and set up and manage a community website for the language. In addition the collaborator will contribute to the operation of the Belgian National Neuroinformatics Node.
