The gulf coast consortium in Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience (GCC-TCN) is a joint research/ training program of six Houston area Universities and Medical Schools. These include: Baylor College of Medicine, University of Houston, UTMB, UT Health Science Center, UT MD Anderson, and Rice University.
The GCC-TCN now offers training opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students in Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience.

Graduate training:
· PhD programs in 10 different GCC allied departments
· A 2 year integrated curriculum, across the different institutions
· 25 training faculty
· NIBIB Graduate Fellowships, for 2nd year students
Undergraduate training
· NSF summer REU program, for US citizens or permanent residents
· Free housing, summer stipend, travel allowance
· Tutorial introductions, common reading, hands on research experience
