As part of a university-wide Neuroengineering Initiative, Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) is seeking to fill new tenure track faculty positions to enhance its ongoing research in neuroengineering.

We are looking for individuals whose research focuses on spinal cord studies at the systems or/and cellular level, neural control, brain-machine interfaces, neuroengineering applications for recovery from spinal/brain injuries, and related areas. Interested candidates of any academic rank will be considered and are encouraged to apply. The primary appointment will be in one of DUCOM’s departments, depending on the individual’s research field.
Faculty rank, salary, and start-up package will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate should have an active, independent research program and be capable of working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Interested applicants should submit a CV, statement of research interests and accomplishments, and the names and contact information for at least three references.
Applications should be addressed to the Chair of Neuroengineering Search Committee at DUCOM and submitted electronically to neuroengineeringsearch@drexel.edu.
Review of applications will begin November 1, 2007, and will continue until the positions are filled. Drexel University is an equal opportunity employer.
