Applications are invited for two PhD scholarships within the project “Evolution of Communication in Robot Societies” at the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems, EPFL, Lausanne (http://lis.epfl.ch)
FUNDED POSTDOCTORAL POSITION with emphasis on Computational Neuroscience is available for a highly motivated candidate at New York University School of Medicine. We are a recently established lab dedicated to studying (1) the mechanisms of synaptic transmission at individual synapses and (2) the role of rapid synaptic plasticity in information processing by individual synapses and functional neural circuits. The lab utilizes cutting-edge imaging and electrophysiological tools in combination with image analysis and computational techniques to approach these questions.
