A postdoctoral position is available to work in collaboration with Rufin
VanRullen at the CerCo in Toulouse, France.

The team investigates temporal aspects of visual perception, attention and awareness, using a combination of psychophysical, neuro-imaging (EEG, fMRI, TMS) and computational tools. This position is focused on computer modeling and simulations: programming experience and a strong computational background are necessary, as well as an interest in neuroscience and/or psychology. The applicant will develop and implement neural network models of particular perceptual, attentional and cognitive abilities, with a focus on neural coding through spike timing and inter-areal synchronization dynamics. French language is not a requirement but a willingness to learn would be beneficial. Net salary ranges between 1,850 Euros and 2,300 Euros per month, commensurate with experience.
