ICML 2009, the 26th International Conference on Machine Learning, is pleased to announce two special programs for students.

1) Student Scholarship Program: Students are invited to submit applications to the Scholarship Program. This program enables students to participate in the conference and to receive feedback on their work from senior researchers in machine learning. Students receiving scholarships will present their work in progress at an ICML 2009 poster session. Scholarships typically include a registration waiver as well as partial travel support.
Student Scholarship application deadline: Friday, May 8, 2009
For more information on the Student Scholarship Program, including how to apply, please see: http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~icml2009/scholarships.html
2) Student Volunteer Program: Funds are available to provide financial support to a limited number of student volunteers who would like to attend ICML 2009. Students accepted as volunteers will have their registration fees waived for the conference. In exchange, students will be required to assist with the organization of the conference.
Student volunteer application deadline: Friday, May 1, 2009.
