Computational Systems Biology Centre at Fudan University plans to make 3-5 PI appointments in Computational Biology at the beginning of the 2009-10 academic year.


Depending on a candidate’s experiences, the rank is open and salary is negotiable. Applicants using computational or mathematical models and/or data analyzing approaches are encouraged to apply. All areas in addressing an enormously broad range of biological and medical priorities such as disease mechanisms, pharmaceutical drug discovery and drug target validation etc. will be considered, that include but not limited to bioinformatics and genomics, cellular and molecular biology, computational neuroscience, and systems approach to biomedical science. The appointee will be expected to develop a rigorous research program, with some teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. The appointment requires 9 months per year commitment to Fudan University.
